Domestic Violence 101
The Cycle of Violence helps us explain to victims that Domestic Violence is cyclical and helps us highlight the possible cycles they are going through.
The Power & Control Wheel is a tool we use with clients to highlight the non-physical behaviors someone who is abusing them may use to obtain and maintain power and control over them and their relationship.
All of these abuse tactics are intended to make leaving the relationship harder.
