Family Safety Center (FSC) – Walk-Ins & Appointments

The Family Safety Center (FSC) is one of the largest Family Justice Centers in the country. The FSC increases the safety of victims of domestic and sexual violence, child and elder abuse, and human trafficking by creating a supportive environment for victims to receive free and confidential services from a variety of providers. Walk-ins are welcome.

Partners currently providing services at the FSC: Nashville Children’s Alliance, the Department of Children’s Services, MNPD Domestic Violence Division’s Family Intervention Program, MNPD Youth Services Department, the District Attorney’s Office, Sexual Assault Center, FiftyForward, YWCA, the Mary Parrish Center.

 

Jean Crowe Advocacy Center (JCAC) – Court Appearances

The Jean Crowe Advocacy Center (JCAC) is the only fully court-based Family Justice Center in the country. The JCAC increases the safety of domestic and sexual violence victims by creating a supportive environment for victims to receive services while waiting for court. At the JCAC, highly trained advocated assist victims with safety planning, danger assessment, domestic violence education, referrals/resources, court accompaniment, and orders of protection in a safe location apart from the offender. Services are all free and confidential.
