The Office of Family Safety’s LiveChat feature allows you to chat with a trained advocate from wherever you are in the style of instant messaging. Advocate’s can provide you with resources, safety planning tips, supportive listening, and more.
Hours of Operation
Our advocates will be available on LiveChat from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday through Friday. If you need help outside of those hours, please call 615-880-1100. The Family Safety Center is open 24/7 to provide in-person assistance with Orders of Protection. At anytime, if you are in immediate danger, call 911.
Our LiveChat service is free and confidential. All information shared through LiveChat is kept confidential between you and our office. If any child abuse, abuse of an elder or vulnerable adult, or serious thoughts of harming yourself or someone else are disclosed or suspected, the Office of Family Safety is required by law to report this information. Please see our Terms of Service for more detailed information about our Confidentiality Policies.
